The Piano Bar
The Piano Bar, run by our friend James, was new for the 2011 festival. Just for our campers, in the festival campsite, this bar is the "local". Think overgrown sitting room with sofas, homemade cake, board games, the Sunday papers and a beautiful shiny black grand piano.
What to expect this year?
You can step up to the stage and tinkle the ivories yourself, sign up for one of the many open mic slots (don't forget to bring your instruments) or have a go at piano-oke... think karaoke with a piano. You pick a song and our resident pianists will accompany you. http://www.piano-oke.co.uk/
New for this year will be a Cabaret on Friday night, a piano battle and piano-ercise, a piano based exercise class for anyone who wants to give themselves an active wake-up call on Saturday morning.
And of course, Sunday will see the Brownstock Big Band, where we all sing together. Don't forget to get there early if you want to be the conductor.
