Take care this Brownstock

WE LOVE YOU BROWNSTOCKERS

Guys and Gals, we wish for you to have the best festival experience you’ve ever had when you come to Brownstock. However, we really want to make sure you stay safe as well! Read our drugs and legal high policy and where to get help while you are on site.

Zero tolerance drug policy

Brownstock has a zero tolerance drugs policy. Any illegal drugs will be confiscated and the police may decide to prosecute. We will not allow anyone to enter Brownstock Festival with any illegal substances to keep y’all safe. We do offer amnesty bins so you can put contraband in prior to searches at the gates without affecting your entry!

Zero tolerance on legal highs

There’s a lot in the news at the moment about legal highs at festivals and how they can be unexpectedly powerful and dangerous. We have teamed up with Angelus Foundation who are in the lead about giving independent advice on legal highs. Their website is www.whynotfindout.org and has info and films for you to learn about the risks. We have also banned and will be confiscating any unclassified “legal high” substances or suspicious looking substances.

Buddy up

Make sure you stay with your amigos, take care of each other and you’ll have the best time. You never heard anyone having the best festival on their own!

Help is at hand

If you or one of your friends feels unwell or unsafe at Brownstock we can help at any time.

1.The Welfare Team are on hand for confidential advice or to alert our medical team. Find them near the main entrance next to our head office.

2.The Brownstock Care Team will be walking through the campsite. Feel free to stop them for help. Look out for the big SOS bus in the main campsite where the care team are based.
3.The Security Team can help. They can point you in the direction of welfare or the medical team. Just ask.

Don’t forget to buddy up during the weekend. No one ever had fun at a festival on their own.
