Taking pride of place in the main arena, The Brownstock Main Stage will be the focus of all potential mosh pits, not to mention a great platform for stage dives! Stomping ground for this year’s headline acts and local talent alike, it will open at 7pm Friday 2nd September for all our lucky campers to witness some unique performances solely reserved for them. Then at midday on Saturday 3rd September we kick into overdrive with a medley of up and coming unsigned bands representing every genre of alternative music, all rounded off with the cream of local talent and 2 very special headline shows. GOOD SHED
Welcome to the Good Shed, hosted by Black Sheep, Mat Format's bass heavy division of Brownstock! After setting the bar so high last year with storming shows from the likes of CASPA & ROD AZLAN, BEARDYMAN, SWAY, DOORLY, WARRIOR ONE, JOE & WILL ASK, LEE MORTIMER, JUNGLE DRUMMER, BLAME, EDDIE TEMPLE MORRIS & many more , this year has been a challenge in getting the formula just right for all you crazy bass heads out there, but we definitely nailed it.
ROUND THE CLOCK SILENT DISCO
As if rocking on till 3am in The Good Shed wasn't booty shaking enough for you, 2010's ever popular Round the Clock Silent Disco returns to help you dance the night (and day) away. Expect music from The Beatles to Benga or from Prince to Pendulum, and everything in between. Beware of random group sing alongs and perhaps some cheeky MCs hijacking your headphones. Make some noise! But remember to ssssh the cows are sleeping...
PIANO BAR
The PianoDJ Bar in the Brownstock campsite will be home to acoustic and unusual music sets, and is where musical Brownstockers go to have a jam. Bring your guitar or any other talent and step up to the open mic. Or you could play the grand piano. Put your name down in the bar as soon as you arrive if you would like to play a couple of tunes.
