We are very excited to make our first line up announcement with the names that will be heading to Essex for Brownstock Festival 2015. Get ready for some huge names served up in the very best small festival atmosphere. You can view the fill line up here.

BASEMENT JAXX

First up will be Grammy nominated and legendary big-beat twosome Basement Jaxx. They will be headlining our main stage with a set sure to boast many familiar tracks such as ‘Where’s Your Head At’, ‘Romeo’ and ‘Good Luck’. They were described by The Guardian in December as being at “the live peak of their career” with their set having been described as a “percussion clattering funk monster”.

 

 

EXAMPLE

Also crowning the main stage will be Elliot Gleave, better known as Example, returning to Brownstock after his rapturously received set in 2011 that many of you will remember. He is also one of the music industry’s masters of getting a crowd going and you should expect all his dance floor filling hits such as “Kickstarts” and “Changed the way you kissed me“.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

DJ FRESH

Drum n’ Bass producer DJ Fresh has also been revealed as a 2015 headliner. This dance producer extroadinaire and drum n’ bass major player recently scored a number one in the UK Dance Singles chart with his current track ‘Gravity’. This track follows a list of absolute classics that we can expect from DJ Fresh, such as “Gold Dust” and “Hot Right Now”.

 

 

 

SUB FOCUS

The eclectic Sub Focus will be on a hand for a set spanning his drum n’ bass roots, through to his latest genre-busting material.

 

 

 

 

LETHAL BIZZLE

Get ready to be whipped into a frenzie, true grime style by MC and MOBO winner Lethal Bizzle.

 

 

 

 

GOLDIE

Famed for his innovations in jungle and drum and bass music the legendary Goldie will be taking to the Good Shed at this year’s Brownstock.

 

 

 

Doorly

Doorly has been returning to Brownstock for many years now as curator of our Good Shed stage.
